PalTalk is a chat tool that allows you talk with your friends. No web cam is required to view others. Plus, you can share photos, files, and messages instantly with any PalTalk user. If you want to chat without the video and voice features, you can always instant message and use PalTalk for real-time text chat. PalTalk works with your existing AOL, Yahoo!, and MSN screen names so you can chat with all of your buddies using a single program.
What makes this program really interesting is the way it combines text, audio, and video into a single integrated environment. All your friends can set up a 24-hour chat room, which you administrate yourselves.
Currently there are a lot of groups listed in the public directory. Many are created by members, who can give other members administrative privileges and remove people who get out of line. It's also possible to create invitation-only private rooms.
